You may wonder why this post appears under some labels but actually I discovered this man (Alexis Ffrench - and yes it does have two Fs at the front of his surname - rather than the one shown on the banner of the Music-News YouTube video) as a result of a visit to Peckover House in Wisbech when a delightful man was playing the piano on an open day in September 2018.
Who is he?
Well, at the time of writing this post, I know almost nothing about him except that he is a musician, a composer and a child of what we have come to use in topical language as The Windrush Generation (after the Home Office scandal whereby some genuinely UK citizens were victimised to the point of even deportation by our Establishment - utterly shameful).
There follows an interview that I tracked down to tell me more of him and it certainly tells me that he was a child prodigy in terms of his musical talent. I am going to find some of his music and post it soon (September 2018).
