Just getting it off ... well not my chest - my shoulder I s'pose

Frozen shoulder:

I am still suffering (and trust me - one does suffer - a lot - with pain - especially, but not exclusively, overnight).

At my first physiotherapy session yesterday in Louth Hospital (Lincs) the physio was the first person to identify or suggest a different diagnosis (previously people mention "frozen shoulder", rotation cuff injury, bursitis etc. etc.) but he said you've got ADHESIVE CAPSULITIS of the (left) shoulder and Googling it I must say that the listed symptoms exactly match mine.

The data shown also includes an aspect that I suspected myself - namely that it can be related to heart disease (which I have) - thanks to the genes I got given by both parents whose demise was thus related.

I, too, am concerned and pre-aware about depression (flagged as a potential consequence related to loss of sleep).

I just had a thought. My parents both smoked all their lives. Mother died aged 63, father aged 67 (actually when I was in my twenties). I wonder how much extra time (theoretically) one gets if one is a lifelong non-smoker (as I am)? Googled this scenario and tried a (typically) American website (link here) that offers to tell you your likely lifespan and guess what ...?

... I died last year.

Onward and upward ... (Keep taking those pills Tim)

PS I was only kidding - to my astonishment my estimated longevity is actually 88 (based on stating HEALTH = fair, INCOME during working life = the lowest level allowed in the 'tool', EDUCATION = average (I had to translate UK data into assumed/estimated US data), EXERCISE = 1/3 workouts a week (I wish) etc etc. If you are wondering what's in it for the company providing 'the tool' - it's that they want to sell you retirement (and other) financial products etc.
